| 2011 - A great year for Blackpool! |
It's going to be a great year for Blackpool with the new promenade being finished off including a new Tower Headland. All of the attractions have invested in one way shape or form with some really exciting developments including a new family area within the Pleasure Beach Resort - Nickelodeon Land, two fantastic new roof top launched slides at Sandcastle Waterpark, a new Madame Tussaud's Waxworks Museum and petting zoo at Blackpool Zoo. Plus later on in the year we'll see the opening of the new Blackpool Tower Experience. Since Merlin Groups take over we have seen and heard some great and exciting plans about how Blackpool Tower is going to be transformed.
