BURBAGE HOLIDAY LODGE
Burbage Holiday Lodge was purchased in 1999 was then called The Sandholm Holiday flats. Over the next three winters the apartments were refurbished to the highest of standards, resulting in the following awards and achievements. 

The first award was in
2001 Entrepaunor of the year Silver award winner at the Blackpool tourism awards.

2002 Wyre Tourist Board “Excellence in Tourism” award.

2002 “Apartments of the year.”  Blackpool Tourism awards.

2003 Wyre Heritage trust Tourism award winner. “Access for All”

2003 Blackpool’s first and only all 4 * apartment.

2004 Silver award, “Apartments of the year” at the Blackpool Tourism awards.

2005 The first 5 * disabled apartment in Blackpool and one of only 15 in the country.

2005 Winners of Blackpool Tourism awards apartments of the year.

2006/7 Winners of Wyre Heritage Trust  “Access for All”.

2006 Highly commended. Lancashire and Blackpool Tourism awards.


QUEENS MANSIONS
November 2003 Burbage Holiday Group purchased Queens Mansions, located a few hundred yards away, a fine imposing art deco building built in 1937, it was the home of the summer stars appearing in the Blackpool shows from Tessy O’shae to Jimmy Edwards.  In 1976 it was turned into 14 Holiday apartments.  The winter of 2004 was the start of a three-year program of refurbishment at a cost of 1/3 of a million pound project.  With plasma T.V. Washer driers, dish washers, Internet connection and up to club class quality. 12 of the apartments have the finest of sea views on the Fylde coast.
